Shawnee 3yr. Chihuahua
My wife and I adopted little Shawnee. I was never one for Chihuahuas until I met Shawnee. It did take her about a month to accept me, but it was totally worth it. The love and affection she shows towards us both is, undoubting the cutest ever.

Millie 3yr. pit bull
Millie was found abandoned, tied to a tree outside of Petsmart on a very cold winter evening. She was so dirty and emaciated we simply couldn’t leave her there to die. Soon after, we found out that she was only used for her puppies and left to die. Our vet stated that she had at least 2 litters in her short life. To our enjoyment Millie turned out to be the sweetest pit bull.

Animal Related Experience:
Some of the earliest and best memories from my childhood would be of my brother and I roaming the neighborhood on our bicycles in search of stray dogs. A little odd of a hobby, but we took great pride in it. Our mother hated it when we would bring a new one home, but we simply couldn’t stop. We would keep them for a week or so nursing them back to health before giving them up to the local shelter. From that point on I knew what I loved. Having the opportunity to work at Mutt Hutt is like a dream come true. I’m totally new to the pet industry, but working at Mutt Hutt has taught me so much about dog behavior as well as the proper care methods for these animals.
