Rules
All prices subject to change. Reservations are required to avoid an additional fee. Payment is due upon arrival.

New Clients: We are currently only accepting dogs that are 40lbs and under. If your dog is over 40lbs but elderly or has special needs, please call the office to discuss options.

Reservations can be made in person, by phone or by email or fax. Should you call and receive no answer, please leave a voicemail with all relevant information so we can reserve a place for your dog. We find this necessary because we like to be prepared for the arrival of each dog by having all pertinent information in our computer system and the appropriate accomodations set for each dog. Also we like our staff to be alerted prior to each dog's arrival and not to have to spend time in the office doing paperwork when they are needed in the kennel supervising the dogs. We hope this new change encourages you to make reservations in advance and not to show up unannounced as this benefits everyone concerned.

All dogs must be altered by 6 months to be allowed to socialize in playgroups. All dogs attending daycare or boarding must have a flat collar or harness with an ID tag that will be worn during their stay at Mutt Hutt. They will be worn at all times except when crated. No pinch collars will be allowed in the play area. If you would like your dog to have lunch or when bringing food for boarding, please bring a clearly labeled food bag. Any medications that need to be administered also need to be clearly labeled with your dog's name and instructions. Beds, toys, and bowls are supplied by Mutt Hutt. A good suggestion is if it's something Fido can't part with, don't bring it. A favorite t-shirt or towel with your scent is always welcome to remind your pup of home. All items should be properly labeled. All dogs must have a completed registration form, a signed contract, current vaccination and health records and a Chicago City Dog License to attend daycare or board.

Vaccinations needed include:
Rabies
Distemper/Parvo
Bordetella within 6 months
Negative fecal within 1 year
Proof of flea & tick preventative during the summer months (April - October)

As an alternative we do accept titer tests proving your pet has the adequate immunities to cover these vaccines.

PLEASE NOTE: Mutt Hutt, Inc. has the sole discretion of refusing services as we deem necessary to insure all parties safety.
